R. Brett Moorehouse, MHA, FACHE
President & Chief Executive Officer
Brett Moorehouse serves as president and chief executive officer at Ranken Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital. He joined Ranken Jordan in 2006 as the vice president and chief operating officer where he rebranded the nation’s first “bridge hospital” and he led the $35 million expansion of the hospital, which added 30 new beds and 75,000 sq. ft. to the hospital. He served as interim president and CEO in 2018 for six months before his permanent appointment. Under his leadership, the hospital continues to grow and serve more children than ever in its history.
Prior to joining Ranken Jordan, Brett served in health care business development and strategic planning. This experience gave him a solid background to transition to hospital administration. Brett has 30 years’ experience in healthcare with Ranken Jordan, Tenet/St. Alexius Hospital, Sacred Heart Hospital, Unity Health, Sisters of Mercy Health System and Mercy Hospital-St. Louis, Mercy Hospital-Joplin and Mercy Hospital-Springfield.
Brett’s health care experience also includes membership and leadership positions in professional organizations. His professional activities include:

Brett received his Bachelor of Science in Communications from Missouri State University, Springfield, MO, in 1989. Brett received his Master’s in Health Administration (MHA) from Saint Louis University in 1996.
