Topic: Transitioning from Hospital to Home
Julia Nesselhauf, will be sharing her stories and answering your questions regarding her experience of caring for a medically complex child at home. Julia’s daughter Jade admitted to Ranken Jordan in October of 2016. Jade, now 7-years-old, has been home with her parents and siblings since June of 2017. Julia will be sharing her expertise on the transition home, organizing medical supplies at home, home nursing, managing therapies and medical appointments, and any other questions attendees may have. This Q&A is for parents, caregivers, professionals, service providers, and policymakers.
