Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist
Renuka Patel, MD, is a child and adolescent psychiatrist at Ranken Jordan, where she works closely with many children with ADHD, anxiety and developmental disorders as well as other psychiatric conditions.
Children with traumatic injuries or illnesses as well as other conditions may deal with a variety of behavioral, cognitive and emotional difficulties. Dr. Patel’s focus is on tailoring treatment to each unique child and having a positive influence on their futures.
In addition to her work at Ranken Jordan, Dr. Patel maintains a private practice in child psychiatry and is a physician advisor at Magellan Behavioral Health Systems.
Her past professional work includes having been director of outpatient psychiatry at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital, training director of the child psychology program at St. Louis University and a physician advisor at Magellan Behavioral Health. She is currently an Associate Clinical Professor at St. Louis University. She is currently associate clinical professor at Saint Louis University.
She received her pre-medical certificate at the University of the South Pacific and her MBBS at the University of Bombay. In addition, she completed an internship and residencies in both psychiatry and child psychiatry at Saint Louis University, as well as a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry.
