Course Information
  • Course Description:
    This structured educational program teaches healthcare professionals practical, hands-on clinical techniques and procedures designed to enhance clinical knowledge, improve competence, and promote patient safety.
  • Who Should Attend:
    Registered nurses, respiratory therapists, nurse practitioners, physicians, and other clinical staff involved in the care of patients with tracheostomies or ventilator support.
  • Course Objectives:
    • Develop practical skills in tracheostomy care
    • Understand ventilator management
    • Learn emergency airway procedures
    • Promote patient safety and confidence in clinical care
  • Duration and Location:
    4 hours (in-person) at Ranken Jordan Pediatric Specialty Hospital, 11365 Dorsett Road, St. Louis, MO. Simulation lab session included.
  • Prerequisites:
    Attendees must have active clinical credentials.

Registration, Fees and Waiver
  • Registration Process:
    Each attendee must register individually via the online portal.
  • Course Fees:
    • Full payment is due at the time of registration.
    • Payment Methods: Credit card
    • Fees are subject to change, but the registration portal will always display the most current amount at the time you register.
  • Waiver Requirement:
    Attendees must complete the Acknowledgment of Risks and Waiver of Liability which will be provided on-site at the time of the class./li>
Cancellation Policy

All cancellation requests must be submitted through the course website. View full cancellation policy.

  • Attendee-Initiated Cancellation:
    • 7 or more days before the course: 100% refund
    • 24 hours to 6 days before the course: 50% refund
    • Less than 24 hours before the course: No refund
  • No-Show:
    Attendees who do not attend the course without submitting a cancellation notice via the website will not receive a refund.
  • Attendee Rescheduling:
    Attendees cannot reschedule their registration to a different course date. If an attendee cannot attend, they must follow the cancellation policy above.
  • Ranken Jordan Rescheduled Course:
    • If Ranken Jordan reschedules a course, registrations will automatically transfer to the new date.
    • If an attendee cannot attend the rescheduled course:
      • Cancels 24+ hours before start: Full refund
      • Less than 24 hours before start: No refund
  • Refund Processing:
    • Refunds are issued to the original payer using the same payment method.
    • Refunds typically process within 2–7 business days; additional time may be required by banks or payment processors.
