Big River Running Company selected Ranken Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital as its charitable partner for the first half of 2022.

“We’ve been around since 2006 and try to be as active and generous as possible in our community,” says Chrissy Fredrikson, director of finances at Big River Running Company. “A few years ago, we launched our charitable action program called ‘Big River Gives Back.’ Through that program we donate 10 percent of sales of all Big River branded merchandise to charities in St. Louis. It’s a great way for our customers to feel like when they shop local, they impact local.”

The program is expected to return more than $3,000 in donations to the hospital.

“We very much believe in the important work Ranken Jordan is doing to support St. Louis’ youth as they work toward returning to their homes after hospital,” says Fredrikson. “We are thrilled to support the hospital in this way.”

Chief development officer for Ranken Jordan, Steve Lindee, says the partnership will provide more than donations. “Big River Running Company has a huge footprint in the St. Louis area,” Lindee says. “Each store and their social media will showcase our partnership. This is a big win for us because the more people who see our name and understand our mission, the more children we can help.”

To shop Big River apparel and support Ranken Jordan, visit any of their 3 store locations or visit bigriverrunning.com/shop and select Branded Gear.
