Shadowing Experience
Firsthand Insight
Shadowing at Ranken Jordan is an opportunity for students, aspiring professionals, or individuals interested in healthcare to observe and learn from licensed therapists in a clinical setting. This experience allows participants to gain firsthand insight into various therapy disciplines, such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, recreational therapy, and music therapy in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.
During shadowing, individuals typically follow therapists as they assess, diagnose, and treat patients. They observe different therapeutic techniques, patient interactions, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
This experience can be especially beneficial for those considering a career in therapy, helping them understand the profession’s demands and determine if it aligns with their interests and skills. If you do not see the area you are looking to observe, we unfortunately do not have the opportunity available at this time.
