Maryland Heights, Mo. (July 1, 2025) – More than 260 golfers and supporters raised more than $210,000 for Ranken Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital at its annual Tee It Up for the Kids golf tournament June 30, 2025, at Whitmoor Country Club in Weldon Spring, Mo.

Chaired by Phil DeKuester, the event included a round of golf followed by a cocktail hour, award ceremony, and silent auction that included a Tony La Russa Hall of Fame signed baseball and a Scottie Scheffler signed flag and poster.

Also part of the event was a surprise for longtime Ranken Jordan volunteer, Kevin Corn, who started the hospital’s junior golf program in 2011. The program will now be known as the “Kevin Corn Golf Academy” in his honor. The idea was inspired by a generous donation from Virginia McDowell and Michael Wendorf of the McDowell Family Foundation to support the program.

“We look forward to Tee It Up for Kids every year because it’s a fun day but it also shows the incredible generosity of our local community and their continuing support for Ranken Jordan,” said Shawn Dryden, CEO, Ranken Jordan. “This year was especially meaningful because we honored Kevin Corn. He is an example of someone who truly believes in our Care Beyond the Bedside model, which encourages children to get out of their hospital rooms and heal through play. Kevin has been inspiring our patients for 14 years now so we loved honoring him after all he’s done for us.”

Ranken Jordan would like to thank all of the participants and sponsors for Tee It Up For Kids, including presenting sponsor Truck Centers, Inc.
