Patrick started at Ranken Jordan as an Infection Prevention and Quality Specialist in 2020. He was appointed Research Director in November 2024 to lead the hospital’s new research department. His role is focused on disseminating scientific research and innovation from Ranken Jordan, with the ultimate goal of introducing the hospital’s unique care model, Care Beyond the Bedside, to the wider pediatric medical community and advancing care for medically complex children.
Patrick comes from an academic research background and has more than 40 peer-reviewed published manuscripts to date. Before coming to Ranken Jordan, he worked as a Clinical Research Specialist in the Department of Pediatrics at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Anthropology from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from St. Louis University.
Patrick enjoys playing and watching sports – especially soccer – with his wife and young son.
