About Ranken Jordan

We’re your bridge between hospital and home

As a pediatric bridge hospital, Ranken Jordan helps kids from birth to 21 who are well enough to leave a traditional hospital but still need help before they go home. Located in the heart of the Midwest, we specialize in caring for children and families with the most complex conditions, illnesses and injuries and bridge the gap between hospital and home.

Every inch of our state-of-the-art facility was designed with children in mind. Our ultimate goal is to help children heal physically, spiritually, mentally and emotionally, so they can return home safely. Inspired by the children and families we serve, we offer hope and strength for brighter futures.

Not your average hospital.

Our 140,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space includes adaptive play spaces, gardens, art and music rooms, even a putting green. As one of our patients put it, “It’s kind of hard not to have fun here.”

Imagine getting better by baking brownies, or painting with a friend. Imagine the rush of kicking a ball or sliding down a slide instead of staring out the window. For the patients at Ranken Jordan, most of their time between breakfast and bed is spent outside of their hospital rooms for supervised play.
