Angela, SHRM-CP, PHR, excitedly joined Ranken Jordan January 2, 2023. Angela has more than 15 years of progressive human resources experience, including 11 years at MidAmerica Transplant Services and 6 years at SSM Health. In her career, Angela led many organizational initiatives focused on improved quality and process improvement, workforce recruitment and retention, and an enhanced employee experience. Angela holds a bachelor’s degree in communication studies from Truman University. She earned her master’s degree in human resources management and human resources development from Webster University in 2007. She has been a State Examiner for the Missouri Quality Award and was previously selected to participate in the CORO Women in Leadership Class for Focus St. Louis, a regional leadership program.  Angela is a certified Human Resources professional by both the Human Resource Certification Institute and the Society for Human Resources Management.

At Mid-America Transplant Services, she served as Vice President of Human Resources and DMV operations for Mid-America Transplant. In addition to her role overseeing 160+ employees directly involved in organ donation, procurement, and processing, Schlansker oversaw several dozen employees at three license offices in the St. Louis region that were operated by Mid-America Transplant. The offices were part of a unique effort by the organization to enhance organ and tissue donation awareness and to encourage license office visitors to sign up on the state organ donor registry. Throughout her tenure, Angela’s innovative retention programs as well as her attention to workforce development led to Mid-America Transplant being recognized as prestigious Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award for performance excellence.  With a strong focus on employee engagement, Mid-America Transplant was named a “Best-in-Class” employer and as an “Employer of the Year” by AAIM and a “Top Workplace” by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Most recently, at SSM Health, Angela served as Senior Human Resources leader supporting SLUCare Physician Group, SSM Medical Group, and St. Mary’s Hospital where she led human resources strategies and initiatives. She resides in St. Louis with her husband and two children.
