Physician Manager

Lynda Brady, MD, provides broad expertise as a pediatric hospitalist and pediatric gastroenterologist at Ranken Jordan.

 

As a pediatric hospitalist, Dr. Brady cares for children in many areas of the hospital. Her expertise in gastroenterology complements this work and allows her to support specialty clinics and programs at Ranken Jordan that focus on stomach, bowel and liver issues. She is dedicated to helping patients reach their rehabilitation goals and return home safely.

 

In addition to her hospitalist responsibilities, Dr. Brady serves as the Physician Manager and leads the Palliative Care rotation at the hospital.

 

Dr. Brady brings firsthand experience with children as a mother of five. Her personal experience with her autistic son gives her a unique perspective in treating children with autism. She is driven to care for patients with complex medical needs and currently works with a large number of patients with autism.

 

Prior to joining Ranken Jordan in 2017, Dr. Brady was the medical director of a private practice that focused on pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology (liver) and nutrition for 14 years. Leading up to that role, she was the medical director of pediatric liver transplantation at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine.

 

Dr. Brady also completed her pediatric residency and fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at the University of Chicago. She spent the first eight years of career caring for children with liver disease and transplants.

 

Dr. Brady graduated with a medical degree from State University of New York at Stony Brook after receiving her bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from Boston University.
