Bella
At Ranken Jordan, every patient receives a bead for every milestone they achieve, which could be anything from a first step to a needle poke. Bella is an avid collector of beads and has collected dozens throughout her five years at Ranken Jordan.
Bella came to Ranken Jordan as an infant, after being diagnosed with Pfeiffer syndrome, a condition that affects the shape of her skull. Bella collected many beads as an infant, and after much progress, was discharged. But continued reconstructive surgeries keep Bella busy, and she has returned as a Ranken Jordan inpatient to collect more beads and reach more milestones.
Today, Bella loves reading, is learning to count, has a fashionable hat collection, and makes friends wherever she goes at Ranken Jordan. Recently, she was bestowed the honor of naming her baby brother!
