The Logan Legacy Society is named for the Logans whose legacy of service to Ranken Jordan dates back to 1948. Mr. Logan served as legal counsel to Mary Ranken Jordan, the hospital’s founder and namesake. Mr. Logan joined the board and held numerous roles including secretary and president. During his 30 years of service, Ranken Jordan became a much larger organization, able to serve many more patients.

Lewis Hyer Society
($10,000+ Or More Annually)
The Lewis Hyer Society recognizes generous donors who invest gifts totaling $10,000 or more annually. Honorees are part of the legacy of Lewis Wilkins “Wilk” Hyer, a dear friend and colleague of Mr. James Cash Penney, Jr., better known as J.C. Penney, founder of the J.C. Penney chain of department stores. Hyer served as store manager to one of the original J.C. Penney stores in Walla Walla, Washington, before assuming a role as one of Penney’s top executives and financial advisors. Hyer, a friend and fellow philanthropist to Mary Ranken Jordan, created a trust estate to benefit Ranken Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital, allowing his generosity to support the children of Ranken Jordan today, over 60 years since his passing.
