Eugene Evra, MD
Pediatric Physiatrist
Eugene Evra, MD, is a physiatrist at Ranken Jordan. As one of few physiatrists in the area, he specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation and treats a variety of medical conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord, nerves, bones, joints, and ligaments to maximize functional ability.
Dr. Evra’s passion, compassion and extensive expertise in rehabilitation helps children gain function, get back to their lives and school, and improve their quality of life and satisfaction.
As a physiatrist, Dr. Evra coordinates care between the referring pediatrician and/or surgeon and the patient and family. He also directs physical, occupational and speech therapy.
Dr. Evra received his medical degree from Smolensk State Medical Academy in Russia where he also finished his internship in pediatric surgery. Prior to medical school, he also was nurse in trauma and orthopedic care.
At Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Dr. Evra completed the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency Program as chief resident and received the Resident of the Year Award.
In addition to his role at Ranken Jordan, Dr. Evra is an adjunct instructor in the Division of Neurology at Saint Louis University and in the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency Program at Washington University School of Medicine.
