Why can’t I move tables?

1. Risk of Electric Shock: Moving tables with plugged-in devices increases the risk of exposed or damaged cords, which can lead to electric shock, especially if wires fray or connections come loose.

2. Equipment Damage: Moving tables with connected equipment, like computers, monitors, or chargers, can put strain on the cords and plugs, potentially damaging the equipment or pulling out connections, leading to malfunction.

3. Tripping Hazard: Plugged-in cables can easily become tangled or snagged while moving a table, creating tripping hazards for anyone nearby and increasing the chance of accidental disconnection.

4. Fire Hazard: Damaged cords from moving plugged-in tables can create a fire risk due to short circuits. The insulation around cords can wear out if stressed, leading to overheating and potential sparks.

5. Disrupted Power Supply: Sudden disconnection during movement can lead to power surges or interrupted work if electronic devices are in use, causing data loss or equipment resets.

6. Strain on Electrical Outlets: Moving plugged-in tables may put stress on the outlets, causing them to loosen or wear out faster, which can lead to electrical issues or the need for repairs.
