Meet Kye
Kye was born at just 25 weeks gestation, facing numerous complications, including a heart condition, lung disease, and respiratory issues. After spending three months at their local hospital and seven months at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, Kye was transferred to Ranken Jordan to continue his recovery and gain strength.
Kye’s mother, Cassie, was initially hesitant about another hospital stay, but she has seen remarkable progress in his development with the specialized care he receives at Ranken Jordan. Although Cassie lives three hours away and struggles to balance caring for Kye and his three older siblings, she visits him as often as possible, grateful for the care that has helped him become a happier and more interactive child.
