Meet Jace

Jace was born premature at 26 weeks with severe bilateral pulmonary disease – which affects the functions of the respiratory system. He has a ventilator to help him breathe and support his weak lungs. Jace is 17-months-old now and he has still never been home.

When Jace came to Ranken Jordan, his mother became hopeful because of all the resources this hospital has to offer. “We stayed in the room for a whole year with no windows, no roommates, and at the time you couldn’t have visitors in the NICU.” Says Rejae, Jace’s mother. “So, I was ready. I knew Ranken Jordan was going to be good.”

Thanks to generous donors like you, Jace has been able to receive the playful therapy and care that he needs to help him transition from hospital to home.

Since arriving at Ranken Jordan, Jace has learned to flip the pages of a book. He goes outside for morning walks with his mom. He has also started standing with the support of a stander.

You can help Jace and other patients like him when you donate today! We thank you for your generous support.
