Our facility is an ideal playground for children with special medical needs, siblings and friends. Year-round classes and activities are free for children of all abilities and their families. We offer everything from golf to fishing to yoga for toddlers to teens.
Bridges – Grief Support Group
Bridges is a 6-week grief program offered by Ranken Jordan beginning in February. The group is open to adults and kids (7 & up) who are grieving the loss of something or someone in their lives…whether it be from a death, as a result of an injury, a divorce, a job loss etc… All are welcome to participate; caregivers of inpatients, past inpatients, people from the community, etc. One does not have to be affiliated with Ranken to take part.
Enjoy a bonding experience with your baby while learning Infant Massage. Infant massage promotes relaxation and may help your baby sleep more soundly, improve weight gain and provide relief from teething, congestion or colic. The class is designed for mothers and fathers of newborns and infants up to age eight months. Expectant parents and children with special needs are welcome.

Ranken Jordan’s Community Program is offering a free Pre-School Playgroup. The Pre-School Playgroup will help promote parent/child interactions and promote age appropriate social interactions and play. This group will help with preschool preparation and readiness skills while promoting an inclusive environment to develop social skills including turn taking and sharing.

Through the Therapeutic Fishing Program, kids, ages five through 16 are introduced to the wonderful world of fishing. Beginners welcome! One on one teaching is provided for this relaxing lakeside activity. Friends and family members are encouraged to attend. Come enjoy nature, learn about conservation and relax!

Challenger Baseball is designed specifically for kids and adults with developmental disabilities. Everyone bats and plays the field in every inning. We make sure everyone feels included. Don’t spend baseball season watching the pros on TV. Enjoy America’s favorite pastime firsthand!
Gateway PGA Pro Kevin Corn from Innsbrook Golf Club teaches these special one-hour golf classes. This one-of-a-kind program provides children who may typically be excluded from participating in golf due to physical or mental limitations a chance to play. Lessons are available for children six years and older. Your child will be encouraged to interact with a diverse group of peers while improving strength, mobility and flexibility.
